From the rooftop at The Sitting Elephant in Rishikesh, you can watch elephants cross to the far bank of the Ganga to drink, unhurried, enormous, and ancient. That moment, repeated at dusk for as long as anyone can remember, is the whole story. We simply built a table beside it.

MadhavIt's really wonderful stay in this hotel with my kid and wife....very courteous and supporting staff, comfortable rooms with Ganga ji view. There breakfast spread @ morning, and hightea @4pm is cherry on top. They give special guided Triveni ghat Arti darshan which is lifetime experience.
