The restaurant did not choose its name from a book. From the rooftop at The Sitting Elephant in Rishikesh, you can watch elephants cross to the far bank of the Ganga to drink, unhurried, enormous, and ancient. That moment, repeated at dusk for as long as anyone can remember, is the whole story. We simply built a table beside it.

The hotel also provides special arrangements for the evening aarti at Triveni Ghat and also early morning dip at the holy river Ganga, thanks to Vijay ji. They also provide you with complimentary bottles of ganga jal. Amazing breakfast options and variety. The rooms are well kept with beautifully crafted towel swans on the bed- courtesy of Rakhi from the housekeeping team and handwritten welcome cards. Great experience overall with amazing sites for clicking photos.

One of the highlights is their special assistance for attending the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, along with arrangements for an early morning holy dip (Ganga Dubki), which adds a unique spiritual touch to the stay. The staff is courteous, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was beautifully decorated with elegant towel swan arrangements, making us feel warmly welcomed. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety and excellent taste. I highly recommend Hotel EllBee to anyone visiting Rishikesh.
